The location of the site in Chandigarh, India, as well as the local craft and the new build opportunity were what attracted the team to the project.Ĭhandigarh is the capital of the northern states of Punjab and Haryana and is renowned for its architecture and urban design with many of its government buildings and housing designed by a team led by Swiss-French architect, Le Corbusier.
